I listened to the latest Spitting Chiclets episode with the blind hockey player Craig Fitzgerald and it really blew my mind. i had no idea that it's even possible to play blind hockey, the interview was so interesting. Currently they're trying to get something going like the four nations for blind hockey and eventually paralympics (currently only a Canada and US tournament is happening).
Craig is an amazing interview partner, and he mentioned plenty NHL players and teams who help or have helped develop blind hockey, e.g. Mitch Marner, Mikko Rantanen, Matthew Tkachuk and Roope Hintz (who is developing it in Finnland!), the Avs, the Flames and more who I've forgotten.
There's also a book - finding the puck by Craig Fitzgerald, the sale of it goes to that goal. I'll definitely will give Santa a notch so that I'll have it under the Christmas tree...
Really great episode, hope they have him on more often
