Three moons ago, DustyClan's head Reverend, Tinspit, disappeared into the night. They claimed to be searching for a way to enter the Great Beyond, and they never returned. With no sign of them anywhere near the clans' territories, they were soon presumed dead. The entirety of their duties fell to DustyClan's remaining Reverend, Cranestep.
When Cranestep left for the last half-moon meeting, he did not return. A patrol was sent out to search for him the next morning, and all they recovered was his body. He had clearly been in a fight, but no other cats were found around. The only clues left behind were the vague scent of RustClan and brown furs stuck between Cranestep's claws.
It has been less than a moon since Cranestep's murder, and DustyClan is left without a Reverend, and without answers. Merlinstar tries her best to hold her clan together, while many of her cats are eager to turn the blame to the clans outside their borders.
Now, DustyClan is a clan held divided, only barely held at bay by their leader while tensions simmer beneath the surface. Will the cats of DustyClan put away their biases in order to solve Cranestep's death, or will they let mistrust and doubt destroy them from the inside?
