First organized ride of the year! @pulseracingmtb Epic 8 Hour Fall 2020 at @hardwoodskibike Glenn did a great job organizing this relay event. I think he said it wasn't a race but we didn't believe him🤣😂🤣😂🤣 It was a great course that had a bit of everything ... climbs, descents, roots, rocks, log overs and stunts. Every corner brought something new 🤔😬😃 We had a 4-man team with combined age over 200. I think we won our category by over a minute. 😁😁🏆 Nice to ride with a couple buddies who survived #CrankTheShield with me last year and thanks to Steve for the invite. My first two laps were pretty quick and I was running even faster on my third lap until I missed a turn .. someone had removed the tape marking the turn. From the tracks, quite a few others made the same mistake. But a 38 is still respectable. Maybe if I wasn't carrying so much dirt on my legs, I could have gone faster lol This effort was fueled by @xactnutrition Fruit2 Maple and @hornbyorganic bars .. perfect for race day! I was prepped for almost anything .. shelter from @cyclelife.bike... tools and workstand ... bbq and cooler. After we were done, I grilled up some burgers and we chowed down. That also meant I was the last one to leave 🤣🤣🤣 Awesome day with a great team and many other incredible riders.
