New jersey day! Just received my new @g2grailtrail jersey today. This jersey helps raise funds for the rail trail. Guelph to Goderich Rail Trail is one of my favourite rides. 2 years ago, I rode it one way 146km; last year I ride it out and back in one day 282km! This year, I'm starting and finishing right downtown Guelph at KM 0, which will add a few more kms 🤪😁 Watch out this August, when I'll be riding to raise funds for children's cancer research via the @greatcyclechallengecanada. Oh happy day! My other baby is back. After 6 plus years of trusty service, I started to have AF issues with my @nikoncanada D810. It was fine stopped down, but wide open was off more than the fine tune would correct. Since it was going in, I got the grips replaced too. She's good as new. Thanks to Nikon Canada for the prompt and thorough service. You're the reason Nikon is the best DSLR camera system around 😍😍😍 Pro tip for anyone sending your camera in for repair ... if, like me, you customize your camera settings, make sure to save them to a memory card. I will warn you now, Service will wipe your settings from the camera. They reset it to factory defaults to eliminate any errors. With the threat of rain and ⚡⛈, I shortened my planned ride home and pedaled a little harder lol The new bike lanes installed on Highway 7 by @cityofmarkham are great .. could use a few more km of those to connect to Durham Region. The shoulder is nice and wide for most of the route into Brooklin. Sweet! It was a beautiful start to the evening then got a bit cool. @rwashbr and I ride it to Frenchman's Bay and back. Coast Guard Rescue boat was heading out for a tour.
