Service dog rant:

So, during my freshmen year here, someone brought their fake service dog into the sculpture building a lot... It was literally just a rowdy puppy with a red cape vest... So now, everyone in the building eyes me and Talulla like she's the same thing... And she's so perfectly behaved but a lot of the sculpture majors that I used to rely on for critique and technical help won't really discuss anything with me anymore and give me the cold shoulder because I guess everyone just thinks now that I'm a lame person that talked the administration into letting me bring my untrained ESA to class with me. Normally this wouldn't matter to me, but in class I need people for critique and there are a lot of people who know the equipment here better than I do, and now I feel as though I can't ask them for help anymore...

I've had this sitting in my drafts for months so I thought I should just post it now ! yumechanom and I were looking up some XIXth century painters' self portraits, and coming across some of them we started to build up some canon-era fancast ... (canon era meaning all of XIXth century, not everyone there is contemporary to the 1930s ofc) Idek here it is.

Keep Calm.

Every single Keep Calm thing actually offends me. It's not funny. It's never been funny. No variation on it is funny. It's very often a joke that doesn't even work. It's not witty, it's not clever, it's just totally rubbish. The original one was kind of interesting when it first popped back up. Because it was used in the war. But does that mean it needs to be on cushions and phone covers and anything else you can think of? Surely buying something with any variation of that on it just makes you an incredibly boring human being who is like everyone else? Why would you want to own something so generic and shit? Totally beyond me.
