Kyo the Hylotl! I enjoy the starbound games and I couldn’t resit doing a few characters. I’ve done 3 Hylotl characters and one Floran character (I have to re-do my Floran character sheet because I didn’t like how I did it). Any how-

Here is Kyo! She’s a tiny engineer and inventor. She’s young and spry. Often tying to create new things and tinker with alien technology. So long as it’s mechanical, Kyo will figure it out! She (of course) like all things steam punk s her home reflects that. And she has a golden and snooty Crasberry called Midas. And yes she i somewhat based on an axolotl. ;3

Thought of a little scene while chatting with @deathbyjuniorjumble... (and may as well ping @bittzu, I think you’d asked a question related to this?)

When Kyo first introduced Vasim to Rina, the apex had no idea how to react to her. Sure, he’d met pets before... but not many, and usually something like weasels, bunnies, or the occasional pig. He hadn’t even heard of crasberries. So naturally, not knowing what else to do, he crouched down and held out his hand for her to sniff. Rina, thinking his hand had or was food maybe, very solemnly took it in her pincer. And that’s how Vasim taught Rina how to shake.

So my Hylotl  (from the game starbound- https://acidshadow.tumblr.com/post/143654823784/hax-the-hylotl-been-playing-a-lot-of-star-bound ) called Hax had a pet Crasberry this sort of colour called ‘BludBlud’. It’ changed a few times since the game wiped saves during its beta stages but I loved the colours first time. I was gonna call this pet ‘Blub-Blub’ but I misspelt it to  ‘BludBlud’ which I think is funnier. So here is BludBlud the Crasberry! 8D I should update Hax’s ref sheet some point. I’ve been trying to make all the pets to My hylotl’s slightly different. BludBlud is more of a swimmer Crasberry here with fins on it legs.
