scrolling through my old tumblr from 7 years ago and it is very much a time capsule of what my high-school-aged-self liked! a lot is the same — very aesthetic (sorry that’s just how i was brought up on this hellsite) edits, game of thrones posts (mainly dany she was my fave at the time, and the old pfp reflects lol), music/8tracks mixes, book tumblr (especially grisha trilogy) things, and text posts that seem cringe to me now.
it’s *checks watch* 4:01am right now, following an eventful day of elon musk buying twitter (and the ensuing panic of users moving platforms and/or returning to tumblr) among other events (misha, i’m looking at you). i’ve realized that since abandoning that blog and using this account, i haven’t really been on tumblr. i lurk, usually when i accidentally open the app and decide to see what’s good on the dashboard, but i haven’t been what i consider “active” in quite some time. i’ve lost contact with my mutuals, realized a lot of the blogs i followed are now archived (is this what the -blog thing means? i’ll google lol) or deactivated. that is to say that i’m trying to use this more often?? despite all the changes that have happened in my absence, i still consider this place a comforting spot to share my thoughts and look at pleasing edits. this will most likely get lost in the ether but i just wanted to put it out there.
