scars - Jaylivia
"I'm so sorry."
Olivia looked up at his quiet admittance, confusion etched over her face. And then she realized what he was referencing. Her left hand. They were sprawled out together by the fire, waiting for it to burn down so they could go to sleep. She was leaning against his right side, her left hand in his lap and he was sweeping her thumb over its palm. The mottled and puckered skin gone cloudy in color, all scar-tissued over. "It's not your fault, baby," she murmured, turning to kiss the side of his head. Bury her nose in his curls -- they were getting too long again, she'd have to cut them for him the next time they were in a motel.
"I could have got you out earlier," he said quietly. "I should have." His hand cradled hers delicately, eyes not looking away from the healed injury. "And I'm sorry."
"You did get me out, though." Curling her fingers in, she closed her hand to hide the thick scar. "You took me home." Lifting the hand, she cupped it over his cheek and made him meet her eyes. "That is all that matters to me, Jackson. You left your home and your pack and all of that, for me." Leaning in, she dropped a gentle kiss to the corner of his mouth. "You were the only one who did that. The only think you should be saying is 'you're welcome.'"
Without waiting for his response, she climbed into his lap and tucked her head under his chin. The fire softened, slowing to embers and Olivia let her eyes close.
murder - Olivia/Seth
He bore down close to her and Olivia's shoulders went up to her ears. The wolf was dangerously close to the surface with only one moon under her belt. She was at the worst place to be in development, able to turn into her wolf at a moment's notice and without any control. Jackson had been coaching her through some meditation and breathing, Dom helping when he was around, but she was nowhere near ready to control herself in this situation.
"Looks like the boy finally made you his bitch, hm?"
All it took was the one jibe from Seth and Olivia was off. A growl ripped through her throat and halfway through, she was changing. Bones popped and rearranged, jaw lengthened. Her eyes were deep, dark ocher. Her wolf didn't pause for a moment, leaping at him and locking her jaw around his neck. She heard him scream and something deep in her stomach went warm. Excited. Blood in the air and she wanted more. Vampire blood too, feeding into her instinctual grudge.
She tore into his throat, not taking a moment to stomach. Her hind paws, low on his stomach, dug in and tore at the soft part there. Once she had severed the neck as best she could, Olivia turned and buried her nose in the lacerations her claws had made, widening them and poisoning his blood all the same.
Seth continued to scream into the night and Olivia's wolf showed no mercy, something in her knowing that this would only protect her human, her mate.
"Where were you?" - Aulivia
I was-- I'm fine, okay? I was just with the new vampire -- Samuel. He wanted to feed and he wouldn't stop, like, talking. Asking me all these questions. Whatever. Is...something wrong? Did I miss something?
[text] You’re boring me. (sethlivia)
[text] obviously not enough, as you're still texting me.
[text] if you come here i can be very un-boring.
"You never loved me."
... Really? Really, Austin, you wanna play this game? I never loved you? Not even when I was gutting myself over your suicide attempt? Or when I basically risked my life just to sleep with you? When I sat in my fucking cell, hating myself for hating you because you were with Laure? How about being terrified to be in the same room with you but doing it anyway to fix what we were? Or getting my goddamn hand burnt off because I wanted to see you so bad after you almost killed yourself? You're gonna say that after all that, you still don't think I ever loved you?
....I was never going to be enough for you, was I? No matter what I did or said... It was never going to be enough. So just... Just fuck off, Austin. Stay the hell away from me.
"Do you ever think about what could have been?" - aulivia, obvs
I try not to. We spent so much time wishing we had met before the Manor and pretending that we’d ever get out and thinking about all that we’d do when we did… All it ever did, in the end, was make everything hurt more.
Star-crossed lovers don’t get happy endings, Aust.
