Ingredients: 1/2 cup popcorn kernels. 1 cup roasted peanuts. 1 cup brown sugar. 1/2 cup butter. 1/4 cup corn syrup. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon baking soda.
Instructions: Preheat oven to 250F 120C. Pop popcorn kernels using preferred method. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Cook until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda. In a large bowl, combine popcorn and peanuts. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn and peanuts, stirring until evenly coated. Spread mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in preheated oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely. Break into pieces and enjoy!
