Shelley and I had a very good dinner last evening at an interesting Italian and Creole restaurant, Gallo’s Kitchen + Bar in Upper Arlington, OH. It is not a fusion restaurant but instead it offers each cuisine side by side.

Shelley had a favorite of her’s spaghetti with marinara sauce. She spontaneously told me how good it tasted. I had crawfish étouffée which was flavorful but not as spicy as I expected so I added some Crystal hot sauce.

Another episode of Goth Girl Can Cook, Crawfish Étouffée edition. I use Paul Prudhomme's recipe, but add a bit of red bell pepper in addition to the green. Using up some frozen crawfish tails we had in the basement freezer
