Taichi already got a surprise when he accidentally yet suddenly bumped into Yamato the other day. Now though this was something he’d never thought would be possible. Clearly he was hallucinating right? There is no freaking way that Meicoomon was here in the flesh outside in the real world right? Tai pinched himself and it actually hurt so does this mean he isn’t dreaming. Tai slowly approaches the digimon from behind. “Uh... Meicoomon.. is that really you?”
He hoped he didn’t scare them. Taichi just wanted to see if it was real or not. Hopefully he wasn’t the only one who could see them. Otherwise other people might think he is crazy talking to thin air. He really hoped that this wasn’t the case. He waits to see if they actually recognized him or not. Because even if it is real there is a chance that this digimon might not be the same digimon he knew from before.

a noise startles her, diverting her attention downwards. her gaze is inquisitive, squatting down as she cautiously reaches a hand out-- part of her is, quite simply put, excited to see an animal so cute, if not perhaps a little unusual (as if anything has ever been normal).
“hello there.” she murmurs, every inch of her resisting the urge to coo-- does it even know what she’s saying? she doesn’t know, but she’d prefer thinking so. “what are you doing out here alone, hm?”
“I will choose her happiness over mine every time.”
“Do you think she’d like that? You know Meiko better than any of us and you know she’d never approve of that.”
