A little edit for @crayola-samgirl​‘s milestone event.  I had to awaken my inner Sam-girl for you. Every time this song comes on shuffle I think of Sam. I tried to make my colouring more ‘horrendously saturated’ for you.

THE RECIPE - a poem for @crayola-samgirl

this is what happens when i’m burned out but wanna write things anyway. it was born from me thinking about what sam and rowena would do if they were bored and for some reason?? what came up in my mind was sam randomly adding marshmallows to a spell to see what it does??? i don’t know where that came from but here you have it!

prompts used: sam, rowena and (very vaguely) horrendously saturated colours (i mean it’s just colourful really)

on a wednesday morning

sam and rowena find themselves bored

so they decide to get cooking

a recipe that can’t go ignored

the ingredients read as follows:

dry camomile

from a plant once loved dearly

they look at each other with a smile

this is going to be easy, clearly

a variety of oils is required

olive and lavender and hazelnut

and roots of an apple tree are desired

and one sole lonely peanut

the further it goes, complicated it gets

the tears of a werewolf, oh my

and three gold coins lost in bets

that’s nothing you can just buy

to top it off with athmosphere

three candles, already burned to half

crafted carefully within the year

to be lit accompanied by a laugh

sam decides to add marshmallows
