It’s taken a little while to get to their position, elevating their status and following but it’s been worth it. Isabelle has done anything and everything to ensure nothing falls apart. She’s the one that reigns in the chaos of the lower ranks most of the time. She’s proven herself a valuable asset to him at this point and continues to do so as they progress with plans.
They’re in the dining hall of Purefoy Manor one morning, discussing plans over a small breakfast when the doors open and green hues peer up to find two lower rank members not so gracefully escorting a woman who seems vaguely familiar.
“My Lord, Miss Purefoy, this one was found lurking out in the gardens,” One of the men explains before pushing the woman forward.
Isabelle stares at the woman a moment as she’s suddenly hit with the realization of where she knows her from and she feels rage start to boil in the pit of her stomach, “Get out.” She doesn’t break eye contact with the woman but it’s clearly meant for the two that brought her in.
“You know sis, I knew you weren’t the smartest but honestly, I’m a little surprised you’re dumb enough to be here right now.” Isabelle muses, almost forgetting for a second that Tom is still in the room.
“I was invited.” Morgana responds firmly, “And believe it or not, I’m not here to see you.” The older brunette turns her attention to Tom, “I know you told me to stay away but I just couldn’t.”
Isabelle goes quiet for a moment, her green hues following Morgana’s gaze to Tom as she feels her blood start to run hot.
“You fucking didn’t.” Green hues meet his blue ones, though the message isn’t verbalized.
