It's really weird to get a glimpse into how other people see you. I know people act specific ways around people and that could alter they way one is viewed. I know people can look at the same person and see different things. It happens a lot, often for negative reasons. But the vast differences in people's perception is still insane to me.
Even more so when it's people you know and you're the topic. I'm assuming personality plays some sort of role, people you tend to seem more attractive if you think positively of them. But how two people can look at the same person and see two vastly different things is odd. I know how it works and it's still just weird.
In the middle of a chat amongst high level managers my CEO stopped the conversation to say have you seen the Crown? Kerri looks just like that lady. He then stopped me from what I was working on to make me Google "that lady".
I was flattered, the last time he told me I looked like a celebrity it was Justin Beiber.
Fast forward, my HR Manager and dear friend says, you look like Sophia Lillis.
Now these two lovely ladies look nothing alike.
I look like neither of those talented women. At all. Not even a little.
But it sure was a confidence boost.
I’m on break right now at work AND I CAN HEAR MY BOSS IN THE PHONE LAUGHING LIKE A MANIAC SEND HELP

My roommate is very proffesional and rarely late to work right? So today thanks to a crazy car accident she was a whole 3 minutes late *gasp* and her boss deadass told her that was no excuse and she was going to start LOCKING THE OFFICE DOWN and anyone whos late has to wait until first break before they'll unlock the doors again. This sounds shady AF and got me fuming so idk what do yall think?
Oh and lets not forget the 'if you have to be here at 8 get here at 730 so youre at your desk and cloc

Anyone here has a love/hate relationship with work? Like you fear it might drive you insane but at the same time you know you couldn't be doing anything else?

So you know how every serial killers started out killing animals? Well my boss tells all our group leaders that she and her brothers dug holes in their yard, put kittens/cats in them with their heads sticking out, and run them over with a lawnmower
Work pissed me off
Ok, so I love my job, right? I'm a library clerk at my school and all I do is sit at the computer and do homework until a student wants to check something out or ask a question about the school website...
So that's exactly what I was doing today for 6 hours into my shift when my boss comes out of his office and asks me to come to his office. Of course I'm thinking he's going to have a basic question about scheduling for the coming weeks...
...I was wrong...
He looks at me, his face getting pale and he starts shaking uncontrollably and he says that I've been giving off "bad vibes" lately and he wanted me to tell him straight up if there was anything he had done to upset me (because apparently I've been acting extremely hostile towards him...I haven't). Ever since I've started working here, I've played light hearted jokes on him with my other boss and laughed about Trump and other random things in the mornings. So... I really don't know what the problem is. He told me to just "watch my body language" in the future but HOW THE HELL DO I WATCH FOR SOMETHING WHEN I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS??!! This is the most bizarre thing I've ever experienced in my life ok. My boss might be insane because I am sure that every day that I've come to work, I've sat my paid, happy ass down in that seat and happily kept myself busy and smiled at my bosses everyday so if he's unsatisfied with my "body language", then too damn bad.
I was slightly annoyed that my manager threw my Fiji water away because the bottle was to big for her liking. She about to get on my last nerve for the very 1st time and it isn't work related
