Pizzapocalypse!AU Noise
Hello, Tuesday. Chalk another one up to fitness?
It is Tuesday and a busy day. Mom had to go to the eye doctor this morning. She was having a little trouble with recognizing the passage of time. I think I broke a land speed record getting us to the office on time.
Oh what the heck.
This day is almost done and we all lived through it. Mom says any day you live through is a day you're a winner. So if you are reading this, you've made it through Tuesday and you are a winner too. Isn't that cool? We are winners!
Land speed record or no, Mom got to the eye doctor. Again their whole staff and especially the Doctor were amazed by her abilities.
Yes, she is having a few cognitive problems, but physically she really is amazing. I suppose I will have to give good genes some of the credit, but I am taking my share too. Hero and I see that she walks every day and does her strength training four days a week. I am taking credit, because I deserve it. No one else will do it so I am doing it myself. Hero and I get the gold medal.
It would be nice if we could have done as well for ourselves, but the award is nice, even if I did give it to us myself. I am happy.
AND we made it through Tuesday. You can share our medal if you want.
Got home, fixed Mom's lunch and Hero and I were off again. Had to take my car in to get emission tested and then go to the tag office. Got it, and the old truck licensed. The old truck and my car are street legal again, but now I don't have the money for gas. There are always complications aren't there?
You ever have one of those day when everywhere you go they take your money and give you things in return that you really wished you didn't have to have?
Driving the car with out a new tag would still feel just the same. Wouldn't it? Of course I expect the good feeling of having the extra cash would stop if the police ever stopped me. But, still it is expensive and I don't notice a bit of difference in how the car drives.
Went to the pharmacy and pick up bucket of medicine, paid at least a hand and toe for it. What do the do? They say right on the label to take them one at a time. If that was chocolate covered peanuts you can bet those thing would be going by the fist full, and cheaper too.
I have dreams of getting marooned in a candy factory. None of getting marooned in a pill factory.
Tonight not one bit of my being wanted to cook, Told Hero I would rather chew on a dirty athletic sock than eat fast food, but that didn't change the facts. I just didn't want to cook. Hero suggested I heated up left overs and we really enjoyed them.
For the first time I slacked off and didn't feel a bit guilty. Poor Hero had better either look out, or perfect his cooking and bed making skills, who knows where this will lead?
Who knows? This could be either Hero or me at the end of the week.
Today is a workout free day, so maybe I am giddy from that?
Thinking has been my solution to all of today's issues. Laundry needs done? I'll think about it. Floors need swept? I'll think about it. Dusting? I am thinking.
Haven't gotten a lot done today, but have rested up a bit with all this heavy thinking. However, I believe I will improve on my thinking skills and do it with my eyes shut next time?
Yes, I am still on my diet and it is going to work, but there were no promises made that I would be pleasant about it. It is hard and I am hungry and look what I got for dinner.
Dinner for two?
Dessert for four? Yea. Right! I can see there are going to be some recalculations going on around here.
Tomorrow is exercise day and Moana has already called to try and sneak out. She is letting a little things like her husband having eye surgery keep her from her appointment. Wonder how the hospital would feel about an exercise class in the surgical waiting room?
I'll think about it. This is just a good day for thinking.
The kittens are almost cats now, but Hero has them so spoiled they don't know it. They have taken over the back porch as their own. Each of them seems to have a favorite chair and they get very comfortable. This morning as I was leaving to take Mom to the eye doctor, Hero made us go out the side door so the kittens wouldn't be disturbed. We did it.
Reports from the animal front. Mitzy didn't have a good check up with the vet. The future is cloudy. But, because Mitzy had to go, Bella went along. It probably save her life. She will be fine.
Beth took Anastasia to the pet store. Anastasia has recently had surgery and has been allowed no treats. She was a bit over anxious and not being a very patient pet. Beth had to take a firm stand. Beth and Anastasia have a routine to greet strangers. Anastasia must sit, shake right paws and then shake with her left. Today she was in a hurry. She sat and started to present her right paw, glanced back at the treat counter and presented both paws at once.
Sitting up like a small dog. Beth said Anastasia gave her a look that actually said, "Ok, are you happy now? Lets get this show on the road and go to the snack bar."
As seems to be the rule with smart and well loved pets. Anastasia got to go to the dogie snack bar and pick a treat. The lady she was greeting, was still laughing on her way to the kitty section.
It is late and the day is fading. So am I. The dog is asleep in the corner. the kitten snuggled in chairs, I think I'll copy them all and go to bed.
Gremlins!
