Zig’s day had gone from average to hell, and he honestly had no idea what he was going to do. He figured that if he lived to see Friday than he’d at least be safe for a week, but after that he was literally screwed. He tried to shake the thoughts of his impending doom on the subway to Esme’s house, but it was easier said than down.
When he turned the last corner to her house, Zig couldn’t help but smile as he saw her. Perhaps Esme could get his mind off of things for a while, or at least make things seem less bad. “Hey, what’s up?” He asked her once he was within a few feet of her.
