I was waiting for my poke bowl takeout and saw a little language chart of Hawaiian pidgin. "Kapu" was listed and translates to "keep out." So Kapu Cave is literally just "Keep Out Cave"

The Creature of Kapu Cave should be called Big Island Mike of The Big Island or Big Islsnd Mike of The Immersion Excusion because we never see the creature but we sure see Big Island Mike on the Big Island at the Immersion Excursion
