Me and some friends are doing a weekly art prompt to celebrate the anniversary of when we all met! This week's theme was "Apocalypse" and I think it turned out awesome!

You.. you are my home like a serene cabin in a ravine meadow next to a creek that springs pure love.. wait, don't go my love. Don't leave just yet. I have to show you the reason for this place. Random Acts of Kindness

I wanted to get my Midan chest piece back after accidentally destroying it last Expac. I was able to grab a small group of friends to unsync it but ended up only getting the three of four required. With me feeling lately like I’m a burden to my friends who have RP partners I didn’t want to bug them and thus sat in queues in hope of a pop.

Today, a player by the name of Sylve Lowen was kind and took an extra step after finding out I had been sitting in a queue that continued to pop and fail due to afk people to ensure I was able to grab my last shaft. I didn’t expect it as I never actually spoke to this player besides a PM response in regards to looking for contacts.

Him and his friends were very kind and made me remember why I play online games - To play with other people. While my past few days have been plagued with small fits of depression their kindness definitely brought a smile to my face.

The wind blowing this door open and shut. It’s unsettling because one assumes a physical presence is needed, when of course it isn’t.

I open the door. It creaks.

I take a deep breath. The air is musty. The dust and damp are palpable.

A step inside. The smell hits me. Old wood and rain.

I shut the door. Silence rings in my ears. How quiet it is here!
