A delicious twist on the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu, this pasta bake combines tender chicken, savory ham, Swiss cheese, and pasta in a creamy sauce, topped with a crispy breadcrumb crust.

Ingredients: 8 ounces penne pasta. 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken. 8 slices ham, chopped. 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1 cup milk. 1 cup chicken broth. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter. 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese. Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish.

Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Follow the directions on the package to cook the penne pasta until it is al dente. Remove the water and set it aside. Melt the butter in a big pan over medium-low heat. Add the flour and stir it in. Cook for one to two minutes, until it turns golden brown. Add the milk and chicken broth slowly while whisking. Keep stirring the mixture as it cooks until it gets thicker. Add the garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and mix them in.
