Harper Summerspring knows her sisters will never forgive her for moving them to Hawkins, Indiana, but it was the first lab job in the country she could find to hire her, and she had to keep food on the table. Things were going great, her coworkers were interested in her and her family, and it wasn’t long before the lab rats started responding positively to treatments; then her boss revealed the truth: that her experiments were being expanded to human subjects.
