Never give up and stay motivated
Just a quick word of warning, because I'm allergic to the air around me. I'm inherited ... and not just a little by a situation as absurd as it is exhausting. Because obviously, on the Internet, creating, sharing and having fun are things you're no longer allowed to do quietly without receiving a volley of musty remarks straight from the abyss of collective frustration.
Here's the picture: a passionate fandub artist by the name of Blue, shares content, Gratos, with heart, passion, time and talent. The result? Harassment, sterile criticism, “ultra pertinent” comments such as “my god nothing to see, you shouldn't do that!”, “yes it's not worth the real version, it's badly played”, “Why do that it's lame” and so on ...
But you know what? What amazes me most is not the malice. It's the pretentiousness. So I'll be blunt ... There's a simple rule in life: those who have nothing to offer spend their time criticizing those who create. This habit of mistaking a moment of sincere creation for a contest of perfection. Except that the worst criticism ALWAYS comes from people who do nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Not an ounce of work, not a second of risk-taking. Just a chair, a keyboard and a dose of badly digested bitterness.
So, sorry, maybe you needed a degree validated by God and Netflix to post a video on the Internet? If you think that spitting on those who create makes you exist, you've got the wrong life. If you don't like a voice, move on. No one put headphones on your ears by force. You're not producers, you're spectators, and even then, from the back of the room. Shut up or get on stage.
And for the artists, creatives, voices, dreamers, enthusiasts who see this kind of treatment: hang in there. Your worth is not defined by the comments of bitter anonymous people. Keep going. Experiment. Speak, sing, double, even if your voice trembles. The world needs people like you, not counter judges.
Create, even if it's not perfect. Create, especially if it's disturbing. Create, because you have the right to. And above all: never let the silence of a few frustrated people silence your voice.
