I truly believe that having

A. A low barrier of entry visual art medium (play dough, cheap paints, colored pencils, etc)

B. An instrument you know how to make a pleasant sound with (a drum, a Dora the explorer the keyboard, your old recorder from elementary school)

In the home would vastly increase the average person's general emotional state and should be as natural to own as towels and silverware
