This Artist Is Making The World A Better Place With Simple (But Hilarious) Flyers
We’re reminded that our world can be a dark place each and every day. Every time we turn on the TV, scroll through social media, or pick up the newspaper, it seems like we’re greeted with more bad news.
South African artist Jaco Haasbroek is all too familiar with that fact. While he was out driving one day, he noticed that this negativity wasn’t limited to the media. After seeing a flyer for a stolen dog, he realized that heartbreak is everywhere. That’s when he decided to channel his creativity into a project that would spread some much-needed joy throughout his community.
Haasbroek’s collection — fittingly called The Good News — is designed with one goal in mind: to make people smile.

First of all, I love your analyses on the movies! It’s shows so well that you really love Thor and Loki and I love you for that! I was just wondering about Loki getting “killed” by Kurse. I always thought that he planned to get fake killed by one of the dark elves so he could go with his plan. Do you think he didn’t have a plan before he went with Thor and just made one up along the way? I mean being fake killed and pretending to be Odin at the end? (part 1)
(part 2) And how do you know that the scene wasn’t shot with that in mind? I’m sorry if my English is bad, but I am not native :-)
Hi! ♥ I realize this answer is going to be a little unsatisfying, but I'll try to do my best anyway! I can't point to specific evidence for how we know that scene was changed, because I don't think it's on-line anymore, but someone who'd seen the original script confirmed that, yes, Loki died in the original version, that the stuff with him surviving was not part of the original plan. I think there may also have been an interview with Tom somewhere that mentioned they had to bring him and Anthony Hopkins back for reshoots, which were part of this, too? (It's the same with the Thor/Jane breakup at the end of the movie--I'm not sure the evidence is still on-line, aside from those shots of Thor in sweats and black t-shirt and his hair back in a simple ponytail, which we're pretty sure were part of that conversation where they decide to be friends.)But these things are pretty accepted as true when people talk about the motivations of the characters and that scene with Loki.HOWEVER, that does leave us in a dilemma, because... well, the scene with Loki dying was filmed with the actors making choices based on the idea that, yes, Loki really did die in that scene... BUT they changed the ending afterwards and so we don't know how that's going to change the motivations. Does that mean that, despite the actors' choices being based on Loki actually dying there are a moot point, that they'll be retconned into, "Loki planned it all along!"? Or will they keep that he really thought he was dying and then something happened after that?I go with the latter, it makes more sense to me and fits better with the way it was filmed, but I definitely acknowledge that we don't actually know anything about how Loki survived or how much he planned ahead of time. I also tend to point out that movie!Loki's plans are actually generally pretty shit, they tend to blow up in his face, that his talent lies more in grabbing opportunities that suddenly come up, so it makes little sense to me that he could have planned for something like this, but makes a lot of sense to me that he was handed an opportunity and went for it.So, you absolutely can watch the movies and think that Loki planned it out like that, he went into that fight with the idea that he would fake his death! But I don't see it that way, too much was the result of pure chance that Loki had no way of affecting, and I don't see it as part of his character, and I think the actors' choices make more sense with the idea that Loki thought he was dying, then just... woke up later and couldn't resist stirring up some shit.As for what we'll get with Thor 3, who knows! I just don't have any idea what Marvel is doing with the character next or how they'll handle this, because I don't think they care about it anywhere NEAR as much as I do and they'll go with whatever's easiest, I suspect.
