A fun throwback from 2010 with the first 'Shape' show by Kaplank Kapow! KP was a local skateboard blog by Calum Barrack and friends which focused on the local skate scene sharing photos and videos of what was happening while also looking at some local art along with design and architecture. It made for a great mix of stuff that inspired and shined a light on the North East. The Shape show was also a great chance to bring the local skate scene together. The submissions were always great with some corkers but unfortunately the photo widgets from the KP site don't work so the only images I could find we're my studio shots as I worked on an MoC lego shape on a snapped board. I'd spoken to a few of the guys about resurrecting the concept but Covid hit and all plans we're put on the back burner but maybe now is a good time to think about it.
