Before reading this post, please be aware that this is not a harrassment post. I am not asking you to harrass anyone involved in this situation — this is simply to bring awareness to what I experienced so that no one will have to deal with the same things I had to.
Additionally, do not make this about shipcourse. This is not about "pro vs anti" or fandom discourse — this is about the dismissal of real life abuse.
The site in question that I am criticizing here is CreativeClash for the way that they handle a case of real life abuse.
Trigger warning for mentions of sexual abuse, though it is not talked about in graphic detail.
Some backstory: I was sexually abused by a user on the site known as Colt/Colth0und. In summary, when I was 14 and he was 16-17, he would repeatedly explicitly share his sexual fantasies with me, show me sexual imagery, and encouraged me to get into adult media, most notably Boyfriend to Death. I wrote a more in depth document here (trigger warnings for the document, if you choose to read: in depth descriptions of sexual abuse, (fictional) rape, (fictional) incest, both fictional and real CSA & inappropriate interactions with an actual minor).
Colth0und is on CreativeClash, as well as in the Discord server for said site. I sent the mods a ticket about it on July 28th, 2025, which is detailed below.
I did not get a response/conclusion until the following day, which I understand given the serious nature of what I expressed. However, once they did respond, it was... incredibly disappointing.
(I would like to clarify that the reason the name and icons are different are because I am a system.)
For some reason, I was told that from the investigation, they discovered that the social media accounts I provided to join the site & server did not meet our minimum requirements of activity nor the required age of accounts, which feels irrelevant to say but I digress. Admittedly, I am not well researched on investigative work and what it entails, so I will not speak much on that aspect of it.
I asked what they plan to do about my sexual abuser being in the server and on the site, and they simply said "we will take appropriate measures necessary," instead of actually providing any tangible idea of what said measures were.
While I understand it's policy not to talk about moderator action, in my opinion, I find it incredibly suspicious. I was not an uninvolved third party. I was the person who brought it to their attention, as well as being a victim who wanted the person who sexually abused me to be deplatformed.
I was additionally banned from the site and kicked from the server itself. I cannot check or verify if any action was taken against Colt himself.
Let me make it clear: my issue is not with the fact that maybe, the accounts I used to join were too recent or too inactive to join the site and they approved me by mistake. However, I find it suspicious that only once I call attention to my abuser, they realize their mistake and both kick me from the server and ban me from the site. Unregistered users cannot see who any profiles of the users on the site, so this means: I have no way to tell if they took action against him or not.
I am unsure if they are currently taking or will take any action to deplatform my sexual abuser. I will not speak further on the matter, especially without proof.
I am not asking for my account back. Frankly, given the callous way that my sexual abuse was handled, I do not wish to participate in CreativeClash anymore.
The only things I am asking for are an acknowledgement of the harm done (whether via a direct apology, official statement, or any other means to acknowledge the harm done) and, at the very least, ensuring that what happened to me doesn't happen to another person.
Because I see people talking about Creative Clash happening in September, I would like to bring awareness to the fact that when I brought up the fact that my actual sexual abuser is on their platform, the mods were incredibly dismissive and removed me from both the site and server without a word as to if they will do anything about my abuser being on there.
I wrote a more detailed post on it here, and I'd like to spread the word so that people are aware of what happened.
