She's very aloof and distant too for I would assume the same reason as you. To protect herself. And because she's bitter about her current existence, she hates it.

Eddie pauses at the last few statements. Specifically the last sentence. He says nothing as he walks away. You can tell he's not upset at you, though something clearly changed in his demeanor.

Volt looks back at him before turning back to you with a grin on his face. Something feels off about it, but you can't tell why. "Water magic sounds quite interesting, live wire. Are there any other cool abilities she has?" He doesn't make a comment on the last few statements. Specifically the last sentence. You can tell he's not upset at you, though something clearly changed in his demeanor.

Eddie seemed to have gone at some point. You can assume he had work to do. Volt smiles at the art. "You make me look so stunning, live wire~ I'm sure Eddie will look even better." He looks back to where Eddie had went. "I'll be back, spark. I think Eddie is up to something~" The last sentence clearly suggest something, but what only Volt knows.
