6. Knowledge from unlikely sources.
So I started playing a game called SCUM thats R175 on steam, the game is a survival game but to the extreme. Me and my friends call it a hyper-survival game, the reason therefore is because the game utilizes a system called the “complex system” which uses your wits to navigate the human body to survive like in real life. The “complex system” adds a metabolism that can influence how you play the game, for example you can try to find things throughout the map to help with certain bodily injuries and sicknesses, my character itself has an extremely high sodium level which untreated can cause heart stroke, stomach cancer and so forth.
The reason why I would recommend the game to anyone is for the “complex system” mainly, the reason being that in high school and university you learn biology in a way that most would find boring. Games make things usually interesting so the fact that you have to regulate your bodily needs give learning human anatomy and biology a lot more interesting that sitting inside a classroom for hours on end and then doing tests on it. I though do caution you to find a professional opinion on the game and its “complex system” otherwise you might learn wrong things about biology. The survival aspect of the game further enhances the intense survival skills you would need to keep your character from dying either from external forces or internal forces.
