Pringle’s Theme Park / Reflection
In a school project, centred on Pringle’s, I created a Pringle’s themed park proposal aims at reinforcing Pringle’s brand culture and bringing customers unforgettable experience. This has a high possibility to bring more customers and enable Pringle’s more distinguishable in the snack food market.
What did I learn from this Project?
This project unquestionably teaches me a lot in how to think and create a proposal in a more comprehensive way. Creating a big business like theme park, there are so many aspects to consider about such as financing, marketing, construction, customer service, customer interactive activities, etc..
I feel like a theme park system is similar to a little society and as the creator of this society, there are so many concerns for you to look after.
What’s more, as a creative proposal based on a existing brand, I learn how to make your proposal reflecting the brand more. Through utilising the original visual language of the brand, the atmosphere could be created which strengthens the objective and brand-centred idea of your proposal.
What is the most challenging part in this project for me?
The most challenging part for me in this project is the Project Plan section which requires us to think about what we prepare for before the commencing of the creative proposal. As which mentioned before, creating a theme park is like building a small society. There are different concerns to build a society. For a more comprehensive preparation, I did lots of research and learnt from other excellent theme park building cases such as Disneyland and Universal.
Compared to Project 2, what is your improvement?
Compared to Project 2, personally I believe that my creative proposal design has been improved. In Project 3, apart from text layout, the utility of different typeface, text size to create hierarchies among information, icons, pictures and vectors are used appropriately to convey information and intention in an effective way.
What could be improved?
In terms of the target audience section, there could be more research and information. Pie charts, ratio graphs or bar chart could be added in to show the intended or existed audience property in an more effective way.
