Chasing sunrise 🌄 ••• We were desperate to see sunrise over Mount Agung from the Temple of Lempuyang Luhur. As we were staying in Ubud, we asked our driver to pick us up at 3am! He was such a champion and drove us the two hours to this iconic spot and we made it in time to witness a beautiful pink glow over the peak. ••• We were rewarded with clear skies, first dibs in line and none of the resident roosters attacking us! (For real - there are a LOT of them here!) 🐓 ••• When we reviewed our images later at home, we realised that the proportion of the mountain in this frame was not as we had hoped or imagined. While we were slightly disappointed, we acknowledge that this was a learning curve for us.
