Wigs are the biggest secret not so secret style option that everybody is all for these days. Celebs are always changing up their looks, some like to stand out from their rivals but often go too far and end up looking a hot mess instead of a snack. Here are 3 celebrities worst wig fails of all time.

1. Oh Nicki did you forget to slick in the edges? 

2. Beyonce might slay her singing but that wig looks like she borrowed it from Frankenstein.  

3. What’s worse than a horrible lace front wig, is a horrible laid lace front wig. kim sack your hair stylist Now!

Vox pop! - Natalie

Myself, Shanieka and Mayran went out to do a brief vox pop. This was after having ITV’S journalist Ria Chatterjee with us at Media Trust giving us a masterclass on quality journalism. I learnt a lot today about the various interview techniques dependant on circumstance.

We had mini debates regarding sensitivity, in the sense of a journalist being on the attack and getting extremely personal or where they should draw the line. This can be quite blurred I feel as you do have to be bold and assertive as a journalist, which subsequently gets a lot out of the interviewee. However, too much of this overbearing demeanour can ruin an interview. Although I gathered from Ria, that in time you develop your own interviewing style and essentially follow your own morals and trust your instincts.

When answering what the best part of her job was she said “it is humbling for people to share their experiences, it is empowering.” I agree with her especially after doing this voxpop as I got more of a taste of interviewing.

I found it intriguing how Ria described an interview as a ‘dance’ where you take the lead and remain assertive. This is very memorable and something I will put into practice.

1. Moscow Mule- this is a beverage consisting of vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, with a topping of a slice of lime.

2. The Aviation- a mixture of gin, maraschino liqueur, creme de violette, and a squeeze of lemon juice.

3.Negroni- one part gin, one part vermouth rosso and one part Campari, with a slit of orange peel.

4. Zombie- 1 part white rum, 1/2 151-proof rum, 1 part lime juice, 1part pineapple juice, 1part apricot brandy, 1part golden rum and 1part dark rum.

5. Blue Lagoon- 1part blue curaçao, 1part vodka and 4parts lemon juice.

Jamie Oliver’s Production Company Vlog- Princess Jiboye

Jamie Oliver’s Production company was so an amazing experience. We were assigned various roles such as Producers, Cameramen, Runners, Editors etc.

We were taught how to produce our own cooking show and how to make the food look presentable. I had the role of and editor which is the field in media that I aspire to be in (postproduction). It was quite an experience because I have never worked with two Mac monitors whilst editing so it was great getting the hang of it.

I would like to thank Jamie Oliver’s Production Team for having us and teaching us the fundermentals of pre-production, production and postproduction. I would also like to thank Media Trust for giving us such and opportunity like this.

Inside Snapchat

Thank you Snapchat for having us! Really interesting to find out more about the internal factors, job roles and partnerships. It was fascinating to see the many intricacies involved for developing the app and how hard you guys work to cater for your demographic.

The augmented reality was amazing and a real testament of how much technology has grown. The evolution of Snapchat is immense and it continues to be one of the most innovative and popular social media platforms.

So grateful that I had the opportunity to visit Snapchat, an app that has become a part of my daily life!
