OKAY! So I cant be the only one that thinks that Patton had accidentally created Remus and Roman. While he may not have meant to, and definitely didnt have bad intentions, I do believe that because he is Morality, he was the one to split Good Creativity and Bad Creativity, and because of his Morality being all good or bad (Because thats how Christianity works) He was very sweet to Roman and... well, never really that nice to Remus. Patton isnt a bad guy, not saying that, he just... couldnt realize that even the "bad ones" have feelings. I think its why Remus barely interacts with Patton at all

By far the coolest costume motif is the consistent device of TWINNING the twins

They are 2 sides of the same coin, ‘light’ & ‘dark’, meaning they don’t just do this because they’re twins, but because they are the same, split down the middle to fit the ‘black & white’ worldview of cThomas…

Do you think that part of the reason that Roman (and maybe Remus aswell) clings so desperately to the black and white way of things is because the only thing keeping one of the creativities from being redundant is the fact that they’re both different?

oh absolutely. Thomas makes a comment along the lines of 'but the duke and the prince wear the black and the white :(' in DWIT and I think that's very telling on how especially Roman views himself and Remus. Good and evil, yin and yang, comedy and tragedy. Roman sees Remus as a fun house mirror and can't stand the thought of them fading into each other. I can't read Remus as well, but I've seen a collection of very good comics about how he also leans into it.

The original creativity should be referred to as Remus and Roman's dad more by them in fics where he existed, but like not as a term of endearment or connection or anything. More like out of obligation and hatred. If they refer to each other as brother, then they gotta refer to him as father, and he was a nine year old boy who they have only ever heard about and both hate. And he's more of a king.
