A Productive Reading Break: A Blend of Rest and Creativity
Reading break at college is a valuable moment - a small reprieve from the rigors of academic life. It's a treasured time for students to relax, rejuvenate, and do whatever they want. This week, I had the pleasure of taking a much-needed holiday, and it turned out to be the ideal combination of rest and creativity.
One of the joys of my reading break was going on a trekking expedition along the Spartan Trail in Banawa. Surrounded by the stunning grandeur of nature, I found myself in wonder at the world around me. This encounter transported me back to the enlightening conversations we've had with Prof. Lloren.
Prof. Lloren highlighted the value of taking random pictures throughout those conversations, including pictures of anything that struck our eye, regardless of whether it appeared relevant at the time. He gave us freedom to think that even if these photos don't seem to serve a purpose right now, they may in the future.
As I looked through my collection of photographs collected in the preceding several weeks, it struck me that these apparently random shots may find a home in our continuing production. The concept of integrating them into our work to provide depth and significance to our story was conceived. I promptly messaged my group members, sharing my notion with them and explaining how these photographs and films may enrich our project.
My group members' reactions were overwhelmingly positive. They, too, had taken random images throughout their own trips and were ecstatic about the prospect of utilizing them to supplement our production. It was a fantastic illustration of how diverse viewpoints and influences can come together to create a wonderful thing.
Initially seeming to be a time for pleasure and relaxation, this reading break quickly evolved into a moment of effective creativity. It served as a reminder that ideas may come to you at the most inconvenient times, even when you're out on a leisurely trek. I look forward to incorporating these impromptu captures into our story in order to deepen its resonance as we continue on our creative journey with our output.
