🛑Please take a minute to read this post🛑 When I first started making comics, this one came up pretty soon. I think searching for ideas for comics actually means taking notes all day long of things that happen, things you feel, things you think about. If you leave it for later, it will completely dissipate into your mundane life. . I would love to go back to making comics. But for some reason I feel so paralyzed when it comes to ideas. I feel like if I’m doing it again, I’m gonna have to create some ground rules for myself. And continue to take notes. . I’ve so distant and disconnected from this account (from instagram in general actually) that I don’t know anymore what you guys want to see here. Or even if you guys are in fact still here or just unfollowing away. . I hope I get this connection with you back. The app might suck at this point in time, but I haven’t deleted my account because of you. Not meta group. YOU. . So if you’re still around and you still want to receive stuff from me, please engage with my posts. It is how the algorithm works. If you don’t engage, you stop receiving my posts and I end up not posting as much - cause it hurts to create stuff that reaches no one. It hurts real bad. . . . . [Image Description: Comic page entitled “The Awful Time Of Ideas”, it shows the main character having an idea (which is a light bulb) while sitting in the toilet, she keeps that light bulb on while flushing the toilet, washing her hands, and when she finally sits at her desk to work on that idea, the light bulb goes off and she forgets what the idea was.] . . . . #AccessibleArt #ComicStripArt #ComicStrips #ComicsArt #WebComicsOfInstagram #DaniellePioli #Ideas #CreativityStruggles #ArtistStruggles #CreativityMatters https://www.instagram.com/p/CZUDKMmLEgq/?utm_medium=tumblr
