(yeah that could be true, but even then that only covers transportation)

(there's a whole lot of other stuff to think about like, how do people cook? do they have stoves or do they do the cauldron-over-a-fire thing? what are their bathrooms/showers like? do they have electricity? or would they just use magic? and exactly how much of their lifestyle is governed by magic anyways?)
