Thank you, NNT fandom

Well ... it’s been a year.

A year since I discovered this shonen and joined the fandom as soon as I read all the chapters until the last one for that time. And thank goodness I could find a place here where I can be totally comfortable sharing my posts about NNT (OTPS, memes, opinions, etc). And the main reason I feel comfortable here is because the community is very kind and respectful with each other. I love seeing their posts and works and how much love they share for the rest. 

Maybe I am not very extrovert, and it’s true than I don’t know or talk with a lot of members on this fandom, but I just wanted to let all you that you are amazing, and fortunately you guys make this fandom being once of the few non-toxic communities I’ve been for a long time. 

So .... thank you so much! I hope I stay here for a long time, and I hope you guys keep enjoying my content. 

I will try to tag those amazing users on tumblr, but please don’t be mad if I miss someone! I am really bad at this kind of things.

Keishaaaaa please teach me how to art-- I mean, it's pretty obvious that you love Melizabeth. Which scene of them was your favourite?

Hey Kat! :D Sure! If you have questions about art ask away~ I’ll try to help as much as I can :)About Melizabeth (I do love them so much dadahdoias)… It’s hard to choose a favorite scene, and now I look at some scenes differently than before. I can remember when I fell head over heels for these two. Before, I loved Kiane the most, then I read chapter 224… And everything changed. Melizabeth is everything now. (I wonder what that says about me … ( * ´◡` * ) ) Let’s see… if I had to choose one scene out of all… I’d say it is the scene right after the battle in Liones, when Elizabeth won’t wake up and Meliodas speaks to her.

A Week of Gratefulness

As fall comes around and we spend more and more time indoors, we get to come closer to those around us (whether we like it or not). This is a season full of reminiscing, letting go of the old, and remembering just how much we may take for granted. 

So, what better time to take a moment to show someone you care?

From October 14 to October 18, we will be hosting a week of gratefulness. This is a time meant to show those around you and inside the fandom that someone cares, and that they are appreciated. Each day will follow a specific theme and will have two tasks to help you show your gratitude. Please use this time to show those you truly care!

October 14 -  Thanks to NNT

Main task - What is something you’ve learned or grown since finding NNT? What is it about NNT that keeps you invested? Let us know!

Thankful week huh...

How to start and what to actually say...since i’m really bad at words (that’s why i art right :D)

I’ve walked through couple of fandoms, and never really got attached to any of those....or when i did, i got burned

I’ve been to groups that got destroyed by the differences among members, just having too many of them, or just faded into the void.

I’ve fell in love with many series, anime, tv shows, mangas...and NNT was kinda love at first sight. I watched the anime when the second season started airing, and something made me fall for it hard, whether it was the characters, the overall emotion and vibe it was giving off to me, the positive energy, the ups and downs i’ve been through while watching/reading it...i’m not entirely sure what it actually was that caught my attention that much, but i had to read it immedieately. It’s true that i was struggling with the art style a lot, and at one point almost dropped it lol, but what i’m most grateful for, is that i didnt.

Even with that all, i stopped being that interested in the manga itself. What kept me here, is the group of people i met. Despide all the fandoms i went through, this is the first time i feel like i’m home. Even before i became part of this huge group, i had couple of followers from the fandom, and they were the most “loyal” mutuals i knew. Anytime i posted anynthing, they were here, and that meant so much to me...

Then this little sweet person reached to me and invited me into their ranks and i found the real home...

So the very special thanks would go to @zeldrispendragon for doing that, and @galfridus1 and @coffin-of-eternal-darkness for being one of those best mutuals who always supported me from the beginning.

I don’t think i can tag everyone i’d want to, but i’m forever grateful to all of you in our server (or out of it ofc) for always being there, always being supportive and caring friends, for being the family <3

I remember first seeing advertisements about NNT when it first aired on Netflix all the way back in 2014 (that’s already 5 years ago oh my god). I had actually tried to avoid watching it out of sheer spite because I didn’t like when Netflix kept showing all the new things they had all over the screen. But eventually I decided to give it a try anyway because I didn’t have anything better to watch.

It was slightly hard for me to follow what was happening in the start, since I was a very tiny child that wasn’t very good at english yet (I was 11 help that’s tiny) and the subtitles were quite fast, so it took me maybe 3 watching times before I actually started to enjoy it. I can’t really remember exactly what I liked so much about it, I suppose it was different from all the other series I had watched. To me the whole story format was new, and I hadn’t really heard of anime before so it was a special and fun style to watch as well.

In all honesty, getting invested in the story and wanting to know what happened after the end of season 1 is what made me pick up writing in my spare time. Sure, the first thing I wrote was... a disaster, especially since my level of English was somewhere between non-existent and very very horrible. I’d have to say that one of the reasons I’m good at English today is that my 12 year old ass was so intent on writing stories in english because nobody would read it if I wrote it in my native language. But of course I can’t overlook the fact that I’ve met so many friends online through our love for NNT. I think it has helped me grow a lot as a person, even if I still have a long way left to go. In many cases it has even helped me be more happy when I didn’t have any friends at home.

Well then since I can’t really remember exactly why I started loving NNT to start with, what keeps me invested now? It’s a very good question, and I can’t exactly tell why. I just really love the story, and I’ve come to adore many of the characters. I think since I’ve been following it for so long it just sort of is a thing that I don’t want to let go of anymore. I always want to see what happens to the characters, see how they grow and what new parts they get to play in the story.
