Featuring Celeste/Solara who belongs to the amazing @lordterronus

Zen gripped her blade tightly as she steadied her breathing. Her opponent, "Celeste", was looking a bit worse for wear, but seemed determined to defeat her. Zen couldn't help but feel a bit solemn over this. Celeste had earlier brought up her parents death, repeating the same accusations she had received since the incident. It seemed like she and Pink were close as well, which motivated her to keep fighting even while Zen had the upper hand.

"The crowd is growing. You should finish this quickly before backup arrives." Jade informed her, and Zen sighed. This was such a mess. Probably Pink pulling the strings as usual. At least they were up on a rooftop rather than on the ground. Zen couldn't be interrupted easily up here.

"We won't kill her. I don't need footage of me killing a civilian on live television. Blunt your blade before I hit her next." She instructed under her breath, getting into a stance to lunge at Celeste again. Her target was breathing heavily and she had plenty of decent wounds. Zen could honestly say she was impressed that she was still standing. But she could see her nearing her limits, which meant this fight was going to her.

"I doubt you'd believe a word I say, but I apologize for this." Zen said, then darted forward. She wasn't quite as fast as before, having received a few decent blows from Celeste as well. But she was more than fast enough to get the edge over her opponent. She watched as Celeste's eyes widened in alarm, and got ready to knock her out with the blunt of her blade…

Until a shot rang out, and something tore through her side.

"GET AWAY FROM HER"

The next few shots she expected, doubling back but still getting nicked on the arm and just under her eye across her cheek. Jade blocked the next round as Zen clutched her side in shock and pain, but merely watched in silence as Pink darted forward to hold Celeste protectively.

This… didn't make sense. Pink was… protecting her? Since when? After all the officers and civilians she's put in harm's way to get to Zen who she never once genuinely tried to protect, she steps in just like that?

"... What are you-"

"I'll give you three seconds to run before I put a bullet in your head" Pink cut her off in a hiss as she leveled her gun with Zen. Her expression was… actually angry? Was that desperation? Zen didn't know, but she didn't have time to think about it either. Whatever Pink hit with that first bullet was bleeding fast, and the shock would only keep her numb for so long. She could already feel herself growing dizzy. So, with one last calculative glare, Zen stepped onto Jade's blade and hovered away a bit.

"Be more careful with your puppets. You'll run out at this rate and I'm sick of taking your blame." She warned her sister before dashing off. Below them, a few cop cars attempted speeding off after her, but both Zen and Pink knew it was pointless. Besides, they both now had more important things to worry about.
