Okay so imagine this (body and bug horror! Unspoiler if you wish to keep reading this)

You enter this weird basement in a haunted house you're exploring. The basement is run down, barely holding itself up. It reeks of death and rot and filth. You hear scuttling from somewhere, but your flashlight cannot land on whatever it is. A painful sounding wheeze echoes in the room, followed by a few small clicks.

Your flashlight lands upon a light switch and you decide to test your luck. You flip it on, and the lights somehow manage to work. It's dim, but you can see what's been scuttling around. It's a centipede, but it's far larger than any you've seen before. Its large enough to swallow you whole.

The centipede is almost fleshy, and covered in holes of varying sizes. Each of its legs comes from one of these holes, too. It sees you, and some of the holes move. Those are eyes, you see now. Sunken, dead eyes stare at you, lifeless yet somehow still able to see. The other holes? They begin to scream. Hundreds of voices all at once screaming in a god-awful mix of pain and fear and rage. Some of the mouths start biting at nothing. One of the legs on the centipede is bitten clean off by the hole it comes out of.

That's about it. Would this go hard as a Call of Cthulhu creature? Bc I might incorporate it

This lil turtle creature has a long extendable neck which it uses to graze on grass or browse on trees. When defending/attacking rivals, its neck retracts to its body, using its amoured head to protect the insides of its body. It uses its long “horns” to fence and stab would be attackers and rivals. It has a sharp, bushy tail for added defence and large plates on its back to make itself look larger and more intimidating.

Ive decided to make this creature as an exercise for creature design, hope u all enjoy it!

Baby raptor is complete and stalking around my living room! I am so happy with how this prototype came out. Future versions will have more feathery arms and tails to be a bit more accurate, but I feel like this version still works quite well.

The color scheme is in homage to Anchiornis huxleyi, the first known fossil with color pigments.

The hard parts are hand cast from my original sculpts, painted and sealed. The body is sewn from faux fur and given structure by an internal, flexible skeleton for realistic poseability.

Finished the raptor! Actual photos tomorrow when there is better light. For now, have a nose.
