So I started this blog mid creaturehub obsession, then when they fell out, I guess it was old memories and cow chop/ rt

But now cc are done and I barely watch rt anymore

So I guess keep following for some dumb posts I find funny and old creature posts when I get sad and re live the good ol times ?

Soooo. We all know what today is of course, which is why I'm choosing now to post this. I started making this a couple of years ago just after James and Aleks left, in an attempt to get some closure I guess. As things escalated in the aftermath, leading to what happened a year ago today, I finally finished this video the way I needed to.

These boys have been a massive part of all our lives. Growing up was easier and more fun because of them. Personally I learned a lot, laughed a lot and certainly cried somewhat. xD Despite all the shit and negativity that went down, I still want to remember the group for what it was, for what they did for us. So I'm posting this now or I never will, haha.

At the end of the day, I also loved a lot. And I still love these nerds so so much and this group will always hold a very special place in my heart. So I hope you guys enjoy this. Excuse the crappy quality though, just take it as a nostalgia kick. ;D

Is it weird that I still watch the old creaturehub videos like , the camping trip road to E3s and like seeing all of the boys so happy and the jokes still make me bust out laughing. Even the way they ended I will forever watch these old videos

Yesterday The Creaturehub finally ended. It broke my heart tbh. So I wanted to share a little memory I had..

I remember being twelve and wanting so badly to play my uncles game, Fear 3. I asked him if I could and he told me it might be too scary so maybe I shouldn’t. Of course, I said I wouldn’t be scared and began to play.. I got a few jump scares and decided it was best to maybe look up where the other scary scenes were…

I went onto YouTube and searched for fear 3 videos and found a really good one by the youtuber, SSoHPKC. It was the first gaming video I watched on YouTube ever. I started watching him more and more; his videos on fallout and Mario..

and then one day, a year later I decided to venture off into other YouTube gamers. I found PewDiePie and Uberhaxornova. I liked PewDiePie, but distinctly remember waiting daily for James to make a new video, which I had never done for anyone else..

I then followed my sidebar of recommendations to a channel called The Creatures. I watched them religiously every week since 2012-2016… I watched as Max left, Eddie and Aleks came; I watched treetopia and payday, road trips and holiday specials.. I was obsessed.

I got the notification in 2016 that James, Aleks, Aaron and Joe were leaving and I remember crying. I cried because I knew that was it for the creatures and I knew I’d never watch their videos weekly again because my two main reasons were gone, James and Seamus. (I even remember seeing Jameshub and being like, “oh shit” lol)

I became a full on Cow Chop fan and checked in on the hub monthly just to be disappointed.. I stopped watching them completely and was devastated about it.

Finally.. I'm 18. And after 5 creature shirts, 4 years (besides Seamus and James years), dozens of live streams, and a trillion cat jokes… The Creaturehub is finally gone.

I wish the guys the best of luck in the future and thank them greatly for the memories I have.

It’s sad to see the Creatures are officially over. I’m gonna miss seeing new videos from them. I’ve met so many people because of these guys and I can’t thank them enough for it. I wish them all the best.

My thoughts on the Creature Fanbase

The Creature fanbase is really annoying me rn. Not all, granted, but most of the fanbase are just being unnecessarily rude, especially on the new house tour video

They're obviously trying to reinvent and rebrand themselves (going from the new logo etc). So what if it’s a shitty place? Will it affect their content? Probably not. There's no point in getting a fancy place if they don't need it, or if they have to pay more money than they need to. The house is pretty much a blank canvas, and from the looks of it the neighbourhood is more chill. There is a fair chance that this will open doors for them, since there was a lot of restrictions on what they can and can’t do in the office.

The hardcore Cow Chop fanboys that are just plain rude are what annoys me. It’s been months since Aleks and James left the creatures, and yet every video there is at least ten ‘Cow Chop is far better than this shit’ comments. Yes, there was/is beef between the two groups, and yes they (The Creatures) have handled things badly in the past, but there is no need to continue to shit on them for it. The past is in the past, and it’s really none of your business what went down. Who knows? The Creatures may be attempting to turn over a new leaf with their management. 

If you don't like the channel or the videos, fair enough, but just leave instead of baiting in the comments. They're not going to be able to reinvent themselves if all their new fans look down at the comments and see 'You're shit' or 'RIP Creatures'. The only thing killing the Creatures and stopping them from gaining new fans are the old toxic fans that just won’t let things go.

Yes, I know I’m generalising. Not every fan is like this, and if you aren’t, then congrats. You’re a prime example of the good side of the fan base. And no one has to agree with this, but honestly - I really needed to clear my head and get this down. 

I’d also just like to state that I’m haven’t got anything against Cow Chop (They’re actually one of my favourite channels), it’s just that some of their fans have the mental maturity of a 4 years old, calling other people names for a reaction.

So, yeah. That’s my two cents (If anyone actually read this), and feel free to reply/message me if you have anything to say about this, or something xD
