im looking at C4 promo art and i'm sorry but these norns are so UGLY.

Like??? Here's C3 norns for comparison

I'm not sorry to say this, but norns honestly look better when they're extremely cartoony. The lack of tails?? The baldness??? the tiny eyes?? they just look so UNCANNY compared to previous games.

Well, Yeah, The previous game's norns could look at bit... creepy at times, C4's norns are just

I also hate how the feet look?? they swap out the primate-like paws from the previous norns designs for feet that look... weirdly??? ungulate-like???

Like. That's the kind of foot you'd expect to see on a megafaunal herbivore. Not a weird, vaguely primate-like creature.

There are SO many better ways they could've modernized the norn design... This is not it.

Congrats on being one of the few Creatures fans that doesn't dislike Master Shee I guess?

I used to be really iffy on the master shee! BUT honestly the more I ended up looking into the small quantities of canon shee art there are in the previous games (because of fan character shenanigans) the more I thought ‘hey actually fishing cactus studios did their homework’ because there seems to be a lot of creatures 1 going on in his design.

Then there’s the whole thing of the more you look at him the more wildly eccentric he looks and that’s just somehow endearingly hilarious. He is just SO hype about norns that it’s infectious.

(Also as a side note I have never before seen a character where a double chin is just naturally part of their character design that isn’t there intentionally to make them look ugly. I’m strangely ok with the sentiment that a main protag just happens to have one.)

Protect This Shee From His Own Life Choices.

With what little we know so far of the Master Shee from creatures 4/online I just can't decide whether he'd be gleefully oblivious to damage if an experiment blew up in his face, or he'd cry like a five year old. Either way I wind up thinking about stupid things and also this stupid awkward science alien needs more fan art.
