Arguing with a friend and he said to try asking you. Declaration in Stone target Reckless Fireweaver. He says he gets the burn trigger. I say that DiS's phrasing means that he gets the clues after RF is already off of the board, so they wouldn't trigger it's effect. Any input would be appreciated :)

You don't get the Clues until after the creature is exiled, so no damage gets done by the Fireweavers.

I target Reckless Fireweaver with Declaration in Stone. My opponent claims he gets the Fireweaver trigger. I believe Declaration's wording means that he gets the clues after Fireweaver is gone. Would he get the burn trigger?

Fireweaver doesn’t trigger here because it’s no longer on the battlefield when its controller investigates.

When a spell or ability resolves, you follow its instructions in the order they’re written. Declaration in Stone exiles before anyone investigates. It also determines the number of times the player investigates based on the number of creatures that are exiled, so the exile has to happen first here.

Hey Mark! It's my birthday today and I have a question about Holiday cards. My dream is to own my own shop and I'm looking forward to getting one. They're an awesome way to thank the stores. Where did the idea come from and how do you design them?

I believe the idea came from Elaine Chase, the head of the Magic brand team. In the beginning I designed the cards. Then the whole design team did it together. Now it's the job of Ken Nagle.
