Isaak: "Nobody cares, Tolansky"
“An yer surprised bout that dawg? If ya weren’t half a dick I’m sure people would care bout ya. Wouldn’t count on it but there might be someone out there yo.”
A new nightmare
@creepingnightmares Todd tries to growl at the hands that touch him, forcing him onto his feet. If only his throat wasn't so dry, Todd would curse them out. This isn't right, this isn't suppose to be happening to him! He was loyal to them for crying out loud! But it didn't matter. It didn't matter. The boss man selected him and they took him away.
Now he is being dragged to some location. Todd doesn't know where he is. Only why he is being dragged here. He's been given up like some sacrifice to be offered to some higher being. Except it's not a higher being. Just some prick that thinks he is. Because Todd has been demoted to being a slave.
Well whoever it is, Todd will make sure they know he's not something they can just break or play with. He's still a person! He will not accept this! He will fight as hard as he can against them. He won't be like some mindless slave. If only he had his powers, he would slime them all. Every single one of them. Then he would hop right out if there. Forget this whole mess. If only he didn't have this thing around his neck.
The men leading him knock on some door. Todd hadn't even been aware that they were walking up to a house Todd shifts his wrists, feeling the shackles bite into his skin. He wants to hit someone so bad. As the door opens, he looks at the person. This person looks like they deserve a smack across the face. Todd glares heatedly at him as the men holding him talk to the person who opened the door. If this is his new 'Master' then does he have a few surprises for him.
🌺🌺 (For both Maddy and Isaak :D )
Maddy
She’s useful, gullible and naive enough to fall for comparatively simple lies. Mystique likes it when she doesn’t have to expend too much effort on as asset that’s only going to be partially useful to her.
Isaak
Mystique is immensely pleased by Isaak’s powers and potential, which alone make him one of the more useful additions to the Brotherhood. He’s manipulative, remorseless and looks out for himself, all of them traits Mystique fully understands and appreciates. The darkness of his personality and his intelligence combine to make him one of Mystique’s favourite students.
@welookoutforourown & @creepingnightmares
Ever since she had deserted Magneto Mystique had thrown herself into the task of looking for young mutants with potential with vigour. Their power would help to protect her from Magneto’s wrath and further her own agenda into the bargain. Finding them was more difficult now that she didn’t possess Magneto’s mutant detection technology, but it was not impossible; if she kept monitoring enough communications sooner or later she would find what she was looking for.
Recently rumours had reached her attention about a young boy at an orphanage, Isaak Friedman. Reports from the Orphanage about other children going insane on a regular basis, rumours which linked the instances to Isaak, too many to ignore, which led to her obtaining his file through government channels. On reading it her suspicions led her to scheduling a meeting with the boy.
The door of the sedan with darkened windows opened and out stepped a woman in her early thirties with dyed blonde hair, smoothing her green business jacket reflexively as she walked into the Orphanage. If it turned out the boy was not a mutant this would be a wasted trip. But Mystique hoped it was not and had prepared the necessary paperwork to begin the adoption process, moulding her features to appear close enough to Isaak’s to be a relative, a long-last aunt to be exaxt to speed the adoption even more.
“Lizzie Johannsen to see Isaak Friedman.” She told the receptionist, tapping manicured nails against the old wooden desk.

Pffffffft that’s hilarious
pulling off a sword pun like that requires a sharp sense of humor huh

I know exactly what you mean-how can people not realize that nutritious food is just plain more expensive then less nutritious food?
exactly. And even then are you really trying to prove that poor people can afford that type of stuff by showing how much it would cost if you bought only what you needed to eat? Of course it's gonna be cheaper, but since that's not how groceries work in most places in the US, let alone places with a lower economic status.
And again, fast food = easier to both get (you don't need to take the time to make it if you're say a single mom with kids to feed who also works, or parents with multiple jobs etc etc and you can say pick it up on your way home), and cheaper to get (because unlike nutritious food, you can buy only what you need for one meal). It's horrible.

isn't it though? I seriously just wanna play it for everyone all the time
especially the getting defensive part. Like, the offended/hurt/whatever party doesn't really care too much why you did whatever, just that you did it, and it hurt them. It's such a simple concept
