Meanwhile, Mini!Amara takes a component from Copy!Pai, saying her efforts are useless and she should just give up. But Copy!Pai says that they have to beg her to stop the killings and to save their world, prostrating as she says so. Mini!Amara says that if she begged from the beginning, he wouldn't had have to get hard on her. She asks again if he'll help...and he flies a little away, saying he'll think about it.
Copy!Pai protests and he reminds her that if she acts up, he won't let her activate the key at all. When she begs again, he hovers down and says she can be his first servant...first order of business? Lick his feet.
He tells her that she better hurry or everyone will die. She can say no...and never get the key. She thinks of Yakumo, opens her mouth...and a blast of energy shocks them both, it coming from the battle with the monsters from outside. Negurooni tells the others to protect the key at all costs and get speared with lightning from behind trying to defend it...but it hits the key also and Mini!Amara takes damage as well in front of a horrified Copy!Pai.
Yakumo is still being hit with his own beast magic.
