been on my mind to draw steampunk clockwork, i was gonna draw the original clockwork but i wanted too draw my headcanon/rewrite and yes i was listening to shatter me. it was a big inspo for this artwork and i might draw a chibi version of this design so yeah

So here is Clockwork and Kate the Chaser's Wedding Pic!

Who Proposed: Honestly, it'd have been Clockwork, and she's been jonesing to propose for a long time. I imagine she chose a special spot for them and managed to get the words out, and Kate was too happy to say "Yes" and they've decided to get married. I imagine their ring is something simple, practical, and pretty like them.

The Wedding: I imagine the wedding as something pretty lowkey. Kate is a very discrete person, and while Clockwork is out there, I imagine she's very guarded, so only close intimate friends attend the union. They have it outside in the forest around early morning because they both love the early morning vibes of the trees then.

Wedding Clothes: So practically, I felt both women would wear pants, but Kate would wear a dressy suit while Clockwork would wear a tuxedo. It wouldve been so easy to put Kate in white but I felt Clockwork wearing white was more meaningful because (given her background + as a nod to her OG backstory) she would probably feel grimier about her life then but wouldnt now. Being with Kate makes her happy/happier, so she wears brighter colors as a reflection of that. Kate, meanwhile, I imagine choosing black because she knows what she is in a way, but she wants to be the piece that compliments/supplements Clockwork's life instead of takes away from it.

The Bouquet: So for the Bouquet, I chose Lily of the Valley and not just because the flowers remind me of Kate but because of what they represent/are. Lily of the Valley represent love and purity, and I feel that reflect these two in a way because while they are damaged, they probably both try their best to give that pure love to each other. However, Lily of the Valley is toxic, so I imagine their intentions to each other are pure, but their choices in acting in those intentions are not. They're trying their best, however, and that's what keeps them together.
