Do you think in the TitansGems X-over Beast Boy's and Raven's fusion would start out as "toxic" because of their clashing personalities but evolve into an awseome fusion as they start to get along better ans become good friends?
See, that’s a thing I’ve wondered about fusions in general. Like, if the relationship between gems starts off bad, does their fusion change with their relationship?
I’m gonna go with no for this AU though, since their fusion wouldn’t be based on any sort of negative emotions, even at the start. When they have to fuse, they do so for the sake of protecting their friends (and each other). They also trust each other, despite how much Anyolite (BB) annoys Pietersite (Rae) at the end of the day.
Think of the initial Pearl/Amethyst dynamic from the show. They basically annoy the hell out of each other, but that didn’t mean their relationship had any actual, damaging sort of animosity between them which affected their fusion. So that would be Anyolite & Pietersite’s case. :)
