Tried out my Siren Yuuri cosplay at WhidbeyCon, a one day con near Seattle ! I wanted a test run before Sakuracon next week , entered the contest on a whim and won first place 🥰❤️

It was hard to move around in but not that bad ! My wings extend to probably 12 feet, but it was windy today. Unfortunately being strapped in turns me into a t- Rex

Got a ton of free swag including a gift card to a local bookstore — where I got a few books for my classroom, some games and My Brothers Husband manga !!

Lots of people asking who I was — general consensus was “ are you howl from howls moving castle ?” ( my answer: I should be, but I’m fanfiction!! And then a run down of @lucycamui and @crimson-chains amazing Siren AU ❤️❤️❤️)

I am honestly SO EXCITED about this story and my words alone could not really express what I feel, so I’ll just leave you with the plot sypnosis: 

Canon , Slight AU (Transgender Yuuri) What does ‘motherhood’ mean? For Hiroko Katsuki, it was something that began nearly thirty years ago. For Minako, it meant attending the sports festivals of her students and late night openings of her studio for the Katsuki children. For Yuuri, it was a future societal role he stepped out of when he came out to his parents in high school. But when opportunity after opportunity for adoption slips through Viktor and Yuuri’s fingers, an oddly timed article sparks a new idea in Viktor’s head. But the building of the Nikiforov-Katsuki family does not come easily, and Yuuri learns what motherhood means to him.

My most hated chores are dishes and laundry, because both just pile up again so quickly after doing them.

Favorite DQ Blizzard is chocolate ice cream with peanut butter and banana chunks. Best darn thing right there, man.

I used to be a bit of a clean freak, but somehow I’ve become a slob again. (Seriously, my room is a fucking mess, damn.)

I’ve spent more money on the .hack series than I care to admit.

I’m so close to my sister that people have actually mistaken us for being a lesbian couple.

oh gosh!! umm i have a lot of ones that i would want. probably “be thou my vision”, it’s not super funeral-y but it means a lot to me. also maybe “comme des enfants" by coeur de pirate because if there’s a song that i identify with more than any other that would be it
