    The beginning was messy. It was tangled in strings of emotion that brought Remi to such an unsatisfied mental state. Was she like a fruit? Left unbitten in her sweet taste, and tossed to the side until she became bruised? Perhaps. It wasn’t easy having your ex as your roommate. What was even more difficult was the pining she allowed to consume her with while her ex did nothing but punish her feelings and bring one faceless body home night after night. Then there was her job. Why was she even working at such a place? Starbucks was loaded with passing by assholes who cared about nothing than their traditional branded coffee that was sort of shit anyways. It was a journey of unhappiness; a change was needed. 

   Remi didn’t understand what really got her to this point, sitting in the passenger seat of some strangers car, but she imagined the mess was to blame. Wasn’t this what her mother had warned her about all her years? Don’t get into cars with strangers? A pleased grin of rebelling slid across her lips. Remi was the one who started all of this. The person awaited for their coffee order and then with a fleeting moment, she pulled her work apron off and went up to them and randomly asked if they wanted to get out of here. What made this stranger so appealing? The blond twirled her finger around a strand of her hair. The bottom line was, when she felt a trust in the stranger beside her, it almost felt refreshing, like jumping into water. What she saw in their eyes was a break from the unhappiness in her life that she was so desperately trying to swim away from... at least just for a while. “So... uhm..” Maybe she should break the silence, even though there was a comfort within it. “I’m Remi---” She couldn’t actually remember if she introduced herself or not. “I don’t want you to think I’m nuts or anything..Even though that would be the most rational thought for you to have..  “ This was...nuts..
