Falling back into Cirque du Freak, I Missed these characters a ton. I have Got to go back and reread what Lartens actual description was, (and actually read through his saga) but for now, enjoy the most base concept of Larten in the 1820's fashion (I desperately need his frock coat to have some form of brocade on it or something. My brain is buzzing thinking about fabrics)
I don't do pen drawings too often, but I do find them fun and challenging, so I have been pushing myself to be uncomfortable and do them more.
Also a fun fact; I learned about the process (at least the base knowldge) of harvesting of silk from the books and then went on to assist on costumes on a show in college literally about Silk Worms

yeah :( it’s a raw deal and the fact that so many stories fall back into the same rote stereotype bullshit is tedious and infuriating
