Ive been in my big hyper-fixations star vs the forces of evil since 2015 and ended it 2019 duw to the finale. And after 6 years of coming back after some info of the creator is interested in for the series to have some kind of coming back (look it up it says it better than I can) i came back. And with my art revolves half with Fankids I've seen alot of fankids in the fandom from my old days. Like alot. (Most were starco and startom fankids) I have my favorites but my number 1 favorite will always be Cressida "Cressie" Butterfly by @gravityfying. This is one of the characters that I'm more curious to see. His name, his origin, his involvement in the plot is a complete mystery and I loved it.

This is actually much more of a hypothesis than a theory, but let’s go.
It's been a while since Nomidot introduced us to the silhouette of Marco's nemesis, but some time later she posted another art with the silhouettes of Rich Pigeon, Tom, Marco (I think it's him) and a Mysterious Character.
The second art is evidently a representation of something that happened in the past of the AU (since Marco and Tom are still young in appearance), and considering that the art was posted on Valentine's Day, it is probable that the figures in it represent the suitors that Star already had. I'll go back to that point at the end of the post.
So I believe that mysterious character could be Marco's current nemesis in the AU. Both are likely to be men (according to a ask in Nomidot's tumblr), and they have a similar type of hair.
Returning to the point about the character being a former Star’s suitor, this could perhaps justify why he is an enemy of Marco, since both have been suitors of the same person in the past, which may have spawned a rivalry between the two that evolved even more after Marco married Star. This may have generated a feeling of revenge, causing him to go after harming Marco and his family in some way, as already mentioned in this ask.
That was my little theory/hypothesis about this mysterious Marco’s Nemesis. Maybe I got something right ... or maybe it's all wrong, but I tried.

The Cressieverse is basically just this really popular future AU story for SVTFOE that primarily focuses on Star and Marco's daughter Cressida "Cressie" Butterfly.
Thanks for telling me. Its strange to think that an AU could get that popular to the point where a toxic fandom would build around it.
