There were so many pretty locations in Archimedes, and Voyager was determined to explore them all. He didn’t... have anything to do, at any of them. He just liked the atmosphere here (even if more often than not, him walking by himself would lead to one person or another flagging him down with a 'hey, kid, you lost?', to which he never quite understood the reasoning, so he’d exclaim a proud ‘nope!’ and leave before they could stop him) – it was relaxing. Plus, maybe, one day Erice would come here and he could show her all the nice spots, and they could enjoy them together.
The sun was nearly done setting, though. The stars were starting to come out. Most of the crowds were shuffling back home before the chill of night began to sink in, or before the further out locales grew too dark. Even with the view at Savior’s Respite, it was empty as Voyager trudged up the path to the cliff. He was humming quietly to himself all the while.
–there was only one other person at the end of the path, where the cliff opened up, surrounded by brilliant flowers. Whoever she was, she looked lost in thought, but it didn’t look like happy thoughts. She had a sort of... sadness, to her, Voyager thought. She was sitting all by herself beside the flowers. Maybe she wasn’t sad, but it seemed strange for someone to look so melancholy all alone by herself in the growing darkness.
Voyager let himself take a seat beside her.
