Introducing the latest member of the Astral Guard...
It’s CHLO! She’s the crew’s resident chef. The Astral Guard may be good at fighting, but they'll need someone with experience in the culinary arts if they want to keep from getting space scurvy. That's where she comes in!
Chlo is a peraca, a llama-like kind from the planet Providence! She's joined the crew to see the system and expand her culinary skills by cooking with ingredients from every planet. She's a voice of reason on the ship, but she's never afraid to try new things!
Mechanic-wise, Chlo functions as a convenient and easy way to try out new recipes! There are other cooks in AG, but none as experienced or readily-available as Chlo. You can combine different items you find to create new, more beneficial meals!
Creating new dishes will even give you permanent stat boosts, so keep an eye out for any ingredients you find!
Additionally, Chlo and Sear are from the same town! She's known the cowbird longer than anyone else and is often the one to keep him in check. They tend to tease each other playfully, and Chlo's often explaining Sear's quirks to other folks. They're fire-forged friends!
She may not be a fighter, but Chlo understands the struggle of trying to do good in a world that tries to convince you otherwise. She's a valuable asset to the team, and the Astral Guard would be down an incredible pillar of support (and incredible meals!) without her.
